Barry King
Non-Executive Chairman
Barry established King Financial Group in 1989 delivering financial services solutions in three states for over 30 years. As well as leading a very cohesive management team in all aspects of business operations Barry is a highly experienced practitioner in the Financial Service Industry holding an Advanced Diploma in Financial Services and Financial Planning and is a qualified specialist in retirement planning and Self-Managed Super Funds.
David Slack
Non- Executive Director
David is the founding Managing Director of Australian equity fund manager Karara Capital Pty Ltd. Over the past 30 years, David has made a significant contribution to the Australian funds management industry. Notably, he was co-founder and joint managing director of Portfolio Partners Limited, which was sold to Norwich Union in 1998. Prior to that, David was a founding executive director of County Nat West Investment Management, where he was head of Australian Equities. He was Chair of the Victorian Funds Management Corporation Investment Committee until 2007.
Andrew Clark
Managing Director
Andrew is a lawyer with over 25 years’ experience in the infrastructure sector and over 20 years’ experience in rail. Having acted for the Victorian Government on major rail projects, including Regional Rail Link, Metro Tunnel and Suburban Rail Loop. Andrew was a partner at global law firm Herbert Smith Freehills for 15 years and in 2017 established the Australian offices of White & Case, where he was the regional section head for Asia Pacific.
Andrew has extensive experience with rail operators throughout Australia as well as major rail infrastructure and signalling companies on the deployment of rail signalling solutions.
Andrew is a long-time investor in RSS and is known to many of our existing investors.
Lee-Anne Cashman
Company Secretary
Lee-Anne Cashman is our Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary. Prior to joining TSSG/RSS, Lee-Anne was the COO & Company Secretary of investment manager, Karara Capital. She joined Karara Capital’s antecedent firm as Compliance Manager and a member of its Risk Committee in July 2005, having previously worked at investment manager, Portfolio Partners as Compliance Manager and Company Secretary from 1999.

Prior to Rail Safety Systems, for nearly 25 years, Simon was with the global giant, Robert Bosch. He managed Product Engineering, Manufacturing and Project teams, in the delivery of Automotive Electronics for the major global Automotive OEM brands.
He’s led multi-discipline teams, across cultures, time zones and locations, and is skilled in Electronics Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing and Quality. Along with his MBA, he has a keen business awareness and focus on results.

Peter Feder
Chief Technical Officer
Over twenty-five years’ experience in Product Development covering Rail, Telecommunications, Software Services and Health care products. Managed the development of mechanical, electrical, electronics and software of the Rail Safety Systems, Rail Active Crossing System (RAXS) and was integral in having the RAXS product fully type approved with Queensland Rail.
Committed to product safety and innovation with 3 patents being awarded and being involved with RISSB standards development.
Andy Turnbull
General Manager
Business Development
A principal in the marketing and professional services industries for 40 years, Andy founded Turnbull Associates, Chartered Accountants in 1983, selling in 1996. He then invested in a 22-person advertising agency, leading it’s organic and acquired growth as Group Finance Director and Group Managing Director, culminating in leading the IPO of Healthworld Inc with 3000 people in 1997. Between 2015 and 2020, Andy initiated a number of Australia UK bi-lateral Trade Catalysts the most pre-eminent of these being in the transport and infrastructure sectors.
